As an avid player of Yume Nikki, LSD Dream Emulator and the countless fangames based off of them, I've been interested in the surreal and absurd beauty of dream-like Internet aesthetics for a while. I love browsing Instagram to look at liminal space pictures and dreamcore collages, and I'm fascinated by Suzanne Treister's Fictional Videogame Stills.
I've read Hiroko Nishikawa's Lovely Sweet Dream (the catalyst for LSD Dream Emulator's creation) many times. I can never get enough of seeing her dreams illustrated by many different artists in such a beautiful collection. The idea of a surreal vision with no particular meaning materialising in the real world through art and collaborative work fascinates me.
My humble dream diary is here in the hopes of inspiring others to create something: Maybe a situation, a place or a person that doesn't exist but that I saw once in a dream will resonate with you. Please do not try psychoanalyse me or my dreams. They're figments of my subconscious, not here to be explained or dissected, but here to be enjoyed like a nice, surreal cup of tea.

Inspired by Hiroko Nishikawa's dream diary Lovely Sweet Dream or Ullillillia's online dream journal, this page was made to document my dreams.
